Completing his visit to Aswan governorate today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, prime minister, made a night tour of a number of projects in the city, which he started by inspecting the Egyptian Public Library in the city of Aswan, accompanied by Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, Dr. Nevin al-Kilani, Minister of culture, Major General Ashraf Attiya, governor of Aswan, and ambassador Reda tayfi, director of the Egypt public libraries fund. The prime minister stressed the importance of operating these cultural monuments in order to enhance their role in nurturing the energies of young people, developing their creativity, and producing talents in all fields, with the need to use the private sector to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of operation.
For her part, the minister of Culture pointed out that this library represents a beacon of culture in Aswan, and a distinguished location was chosen for its implementation, in the middle of many archaeological and tourist sites, as it includes various halls for holding events, trainings and activities, including the seminar hall and training halls, as well as a multi-purpose hall where cultural and artistic activities, handicrafts, handicrafts, special events for people of determination, as well as the events of the Arabic calligraphy school; the computer hall, which is special for computer training and its various programs, and also includes a garage to accommodate the largest number of cars to reduce traffic congestion, and in addition to a large meeting room, libraries for different ages, and an auditorium A cinema for showing movies to the child, while using the rest of the spaces as open areas and green spaces to practice various activities.
The prime minister inspected part of the library components, where the minister explained during the inspection that the Public Library of Egypt in the city of “Aswan”, was built on an area of up to 3200 m2, including the library building, the public site and outbuildings, and includes among its sides two Specialized Libraries, one for adults, with a large number of books in various fields, and another for children, and it is to various electronic platforms; with access to platforms for children, and there is a dedicated corner in the children’s library For their child’s activities and games.
The minister added that the library includes the Roman theater open to host cultural activities and parties for Library Friends, a break for presenters and paragraphs, and there is a number of (2) cafeteria in the building to serve those who frequent the building and provide possible services in hospitality and reception, and there is a private garden in the library.

During the tour, the prime minister inspected a hall dedicated to children’s activities, interacted with their artistic activities in the field of painting, and held a dialogue with a number of children motivating them, and also learned from Ms. Suhair Makki, the library director, about a number of activities provided for young people, where he inspected a multi-purpose hall and listened to artistic activities in the field of singing for young people, including a blind girl with disabilities who sings and sings with a sweet voice, which invited the prime minister to greet her and praise her talent, and also visited a hall that includes an exhibition of handicrafts of a heritage nature, and directed the establishment of handicraft exhibitions in the branches of the library in Cairo, due to the great passion for this type of products there, and inspect a hall with a seminar Raising awareness about the dangers of drugs, reflecting the diversity and integration of the activities offered by the library to the people of Aswan and their children.
